Wunderall products are all very durable; but there are certain care suggestions that may extend the overall life of your Wunderall, or at least it's appearance and quality.

1. Reasonably frequent washings; Most of us know how dirt within the fibers abrades nylon rope; the same seems to be true of Wunderall products.

a. Some people go to car washes and wash their suits; others hose them off with a garden hose. It still is useful to occasionally machine wash your Wunderall.

b. Machine washing is best done with a full load of water, your Wunderall, a couple of bath towels, and only enough detergent to make the water a little slippery - basically to act as a wetting agent.

bb. Close all hook and loop fasteners so that they don't pick up crud-and hook doesn't grab at loose threads.

c. Several Wunderall owners have given testimonials for the use of Woolite. They maintain the fabric and colors keep their like-new look; we’d like to think that this also indicates the fibers are in better shape.

d. Some people have reported using a fabric softener in the final rinse (not as a soak), leaving their Wunderall more flexible, without sacrificing long wear.

e. Do not dry your Wunderall in the dryer unless you do not care about the fiber coating. The fabric will become very soft over time, and lose a lot of its durability.

A recent report--an inexpensive waterproofing spray-Campdry-has been used on aging Wunderalls-very effective for 2 or 3 washings-worth a try!
